Creative Vending at PaperCut Society

Fun times

I turn everyday snack machines into quirky, pint-sized fun shopping and conversation pieces—each one brimming with local treasures you never knew you needed! Products change out often, so there’s always a fresh fun time waiting inside. Go on and give it a few dollars!

Want a machine at your business?

There are so many rad perks to having one of these creative machines! You’re backing local art and supporting loads of small businesses, while giving that quiet corner a little life back. They spark conversation, curiosity, and add off-the-wall surprises that’ll have folks talking like they just caught a glimpse of Bigfoot. Ready to host a custom vending machine in your space? Let’s make it happen—reach out to me at hello@papercutsociety.com

Hiya Creatives, Artists and Makers, Here's What I'm Looking For:

  • Dimensions: Items for chip-sized rows should generally be around 5 inches wide. Height can vary, but most rows accommodate items about 5 inches tall. Candy-sized trays fit items roughly the size of a vertically placed business card.
  • Stiffness: Products need some rigidity to move forward when the coil spins. Flimsy items won’t vend properly, so make sure your packaging can withstand a bit of a push.
  • Weight: Items must be heavy enough to drop down when vended. If they’re too light, they might get stuck. You can add weight by including a penny or using a cardboard backing.
  • Packaging & Labels: Creative packaging is key to fitting items into coils effectively. Items need to be pre-packaged by the artists before I purchase. I recommend using ClearBags.com for cellophane bags or other packaging needs. Since customers can't touch your product, it’s crucial that they know exactly what they’re buying just by looking. Clear, eye-catching packaging is key! Labeling your neatly packaged items not only helps with identification but also gives you a chance to show off your shining personality.
  • Pricing: I’m looking to purchase items at wholesale prices so I can resell them. My retail prices range from $2.00 to $20.00, so keep that in mind before sharing your wholesale product and price lists.
  • NO magnets or anything that breaks easily, like ceramics or glass.
